A very simple game which I made while still learning Unity and C#.

Development is not finished yet but you'll be able to play a base version of the game.


Basics:

There is no endgoal for the game yet, but it'll be a Game Over if you reach a score of -10 or below. If the ball loses velocity (e.g. when it's trapped between the Player Paddle and the walls) completely it will be a Game Over as well.

The score increases when the ball hits the paddle (+20) or the northern wall (+25).

The score decreases when the ball hits the southern wall (-25) or the sidewalls (-5).


Controls:

[A] or [LeftArrow] to move the paddle to the left

[D] or [RightArrow] to move the paddle to the right

[ESC] to open/close the pause menu


What's to come in future Updates?

Better Ball Movement & Velocity

Ball movement and velocity can feel kinda sluggish at times. I intend to improve this over time.

An opponent in Singleplayer-Mode

Will be able to defend the northern wall and use different tools and items.

Items

Will hurt or heal the Player, increase or decrease the score, reset the timer and more.
